Commodity Prices & Interest rates

The longstanding correlation between commodity prices and long-term U.S. interest rates has gone askew in the past several years. In order to re-assert any semblance of the historical correlation, either commodity prices collapse, long-term interest rates ramp up dramatically, or a combination of both.
